Green Tea Ingredients

Biscuits "Cappuccino".

Everyone knows the nooks (or almond biscuits), such as biscuits with almonds or hazelnuts. True nooks are the biscuits of Prato, the first documented recipe is a manuscript of the eighteenth century Prato Baldanzi Amadio. Traditionally
cantucci combine with Vin Santo, or generally in fortified wines, although they are very well with dry wines such as sparkling wines.

The original recipe for biscotti di Prato does not use butter or other added fats: just flour, eggs, sugar and almonds. Personally I prefer the nooks hazelnuts, so I propose a recipe with hazelnuts and coffee.

Ingredients:
-
2 cups flour - 1 cup white sugar
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 150 grams of dried cranberries
- a few drops of vanilla flavor, or the pulp of a vanilla bean (not if you Yeast use vanilla)
- a pinch of salt
- 1uovo large (or 2 if small)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon cloves 1 cup of coffee

Preparation:
-in a bowl, mix flour with all dry ingredients.
-beat the egg with sugar.
-mix dry ingredients with coffee and egg.
-knead well until dough is smooth, then add the hazelnuts and blueberries mix to disperse evenly.

-spread the dough with your hands to form rectangles 2 cm high and 5 cm wide.
-bake at 160 ° C for 20 minutes.

-remove from oven and wait 10 minutes to cool slightly.

Cut diagonally into slices 2-3 cm wide, and put them back in the oven at 160 ° C for 15-20 minutes, until they start to brown.
