Going for social housing

For those wishing to tour European cities that have, in addition to traditional destinations, examples of social tourism, here are some suggestions.
In Denmark, in the town of Aarhus, Rikke Lildholdt architect, built a house not only self-sufficient from an energy standpoint, but also able to produce more energy than needed for the house itself.

In Freiburg, Germany, and the districts of Vauban Rieselfeld offer examples of local sustainable development. The two districts together, including 6500 homes self-sufficient in energy.

In the southern suburbs of London rises ZedBed, designed by architect Bill Dunster exclusively follow the logic of using sustainable and renewable energy technologies.
